Arkansas High School Basketball - Newport topped by Beebe
November 30, 2023: Beebe, AR 72012 The Beebe Badgers basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Newport Greyhounds to 34 in the Badgers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Badgers now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harding Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Beebe will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 97-56 non-league loss to Searcy (Searcy, AR). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-4.
The Greyhounds (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Batesville (Batesville, AR). The Pioneers come into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Batesville prevailed over Beebe (Beebe, AR), 54-42, in a non-league contest.
