Biggs Wolverines (Biggs, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA), 34-29 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Biggs upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Loyalton (Loyalton, CA) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Loyalton won 35-27 in their recent non-league bout against Hamilton (Hamilton City, CA)
