North Carolina High School Basketball - Central Academy falls to Hickory Grove Christian

November 30, 2023: Monroe, NC 28112

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Hickory Grove Christian Lions basketball team scored a good 50-33 triumph over the Central Academy Cougars.

In their next game, the Lions meet the Gaston Christian Eagles (Gastonia, NC) in a NCISAA Metrolina match, on Friday, December 1. Hickory Grove Christian will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 0-3 record after their 72-14 league loss to Northside Christian Academy (Charlotte, NC).

With the defeat, Central Academy moves to 0-4 on the year. The Cougars host Montgomery Central (Troy, NC) to meet the Timberwolves in a non-league match on Friday, December 1. The Timberwolves enter the match with a record of 2-0. Montgomery Central won 53-48 in their recent non-league match against Union Pines (Cameron, NC)
