Nebraska High School Basketball - Chase County tops Cozad
November 30, 2023: Cozad, NE 69130 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE) and the host Cozad Haymakers (Cozad, NE), saw Chase County's basketball squad knock off Cozad by a tally of 50-41.
With the victory, Chase County improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Longhorns host McCook (McCook, NE) to play the Bison in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Bison come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Haymakers play the Maxwell Wildcats (Maxwell, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 2. Cozad will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 44-23 non-league loss to Sandhills/Thedford (Dunning, NE).
