Illinois High School Basketball - Christian Life holds off West Carroll
November 30, 2023: Savanna, IL 61074 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Christian Life Eagles (Rockford, IL) and the host West Carroll Thunder (Savanna, IL), saw Christian Life's basketball squad hold off West Carroll by a tally of 43-37.
With the victory, Christian Life improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Alden-Hebron (Hebron, IL) to confront the Green Giants in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Green Giants come into the challenge with a record of 5-4.
Next up, the Thunder confront the Bureau Valley Storm (Manlius, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 2. West Carroll will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Storm come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 56-52 league loss to Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL).
