November 30, 2023: Marrero, LA 70072 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the L.W. Higgins Hurricanes (Marrero, LA) and the visiting Cohen Green Hornets (New Orleans, LA), saw L.W. Higgins's basketball squad wallop Cohen by a tally of 52-20.
With the victory, L.W. Higgins improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host East Jefferson (Metairie, LA) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 3-2.
Next up, the Green Hornets play the Carver Collegiate Academy Rams (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 1. Cohen will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 62-22 non-league loss to Liberty Magnet (Baton Rouge, LA).
