The Grace Academy Lions (Matthews, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), 43-41 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their test against 1 of 1 Academy Red (Indian Trail, NC). The Raptors go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, 1 of 1 Academy Red got by Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC), 62-25, in a non-league test.
