Kansas High School Basketball - Sumner Academy crushes East
November 30, 2023: Kansas City, KS 66101 Sumner Academy Sabres (Kansas City, KS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting East (Kansas City, MO), 94-3 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sumner Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Sabres host Northeast (Kansas City, MO) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the play the Winnetonka Griffins (Kansas City, MO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. East will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
