Louisiana High School Basketball - E.D. White knocked off by Ponchatoula
November 30, 2023: Ponchatoula, LA 70454 The Ponchatoula Green Wave basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting E.D. White Cardinals to 37 in the Green Wave non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Green Wave now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Ascension for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Ponchatoula will battle a Spartans team coming off a 48-46 non-league win over St. Joseph's Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-1.
The Cardinals (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against East St. John (Reserve, LA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, East St. John ran past De La Salle (New Orleans, LA), 50-42, in a non-league contest.
