The Union Grove Lions basketball team (Gladewater, TX), was nudged 38-34 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host First Baptist Saints (Dallas, TX)

The Saints now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chapel Hill for a non-league battle on Friday, December 1. First Baptist will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 58-14 non-league win over All Saints Episcopal (Tyler, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-5.
