Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the First Colonial Patriots (Virginia Beach, VA) and the host Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA), saw First Colonial's basketball squad knock off Hickory by a tally of 56-48.

With the victory, First Colonial improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Patriots host Princess Anne (Virginia Beach, VA) to encounter the Cavaliers in a Beach test on Tuesday, December 5. The Cavaliers go into the test with a record of 3-0. Princess Anne won 66-33 in their recent non-league test against Hampton (Hampton, VA)
