Texas High School Basketball - Hooks tops Quitman
November 30, 2023: Quitman, TX 75783 Hooks Hornets (Hooks, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, TX), 46-31 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Hooks upgrades its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Longview (Longview, TX) to play the Lobos in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Lobos come into the bout with a record of 7-2. Longview won 79-23 in their recent non-league bout against Garrison (Garrison, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the New Diana Eagles (Diana, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Quitman will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 49-18 non-league loss to Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX).
