The Sunnyvale basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Independence Knights to 27 in the non-league triumph on Thursday.

The now sport a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to John Paul II for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1.

The Knights (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Emerson (McKinney, TX). The Mavericks enter the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Emerson was routed by Non Varsity Tournament Opponent (, ), 44-40, in a non-league contest.
