In Thursday's non-league outing, the Sweetwater Mustangs (Sweetwater, TX) basketball squad edged the host Kress Kangaroos (Kress, TX), by a margin of 36-30.

The Mustangs (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Forsan (Forsan, TX). The Buffaloes go into the non-league outing with a 0-5 record. In their last outing, Forsan was tipped by Garden City (Garden City, TX), 27-25, in a non-league outing.
