November 30, 2023: San Angelo, TX 76903 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the New Deal Lions (New Deal, TX) and the host Lake View Chiefs (San Angelo, TX), saw New Deal's basketball squad wallop Lake View by a tally of 54-16.
With the victory, New Deal improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Grady (Lenorah, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 30. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Grady lost 61-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Coahoma (Coahoma, TX)
Next up, the Chiefs confront the Stanton Buffaloes (Stanton, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Lake View will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 86-34 non-league loss to Sudan (Sudan, TX).
