In Thursday's non-league outing, the Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) basketball squad felled the host Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA), by a margin of 49-41.

The Saxons (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Broad Run (Ashburn, VA). The Spartans go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Broad Run thwarted Lake Braddock (Burke, VA), 46-41, in a non-league outing.
