November 30, 2023: Rockford, IL 61114 The St. Edward Green Wave basketball team (Elgin, IL), was overwhelmed 74-46 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Lutheran Crusaders (Rockford, IL)
The Crusaders now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Genoa-Kingston for a Big Northern battle on Tuesday, December 5. Lutheran will confront a Cogs team coming off a 46-16 league win over Oregon (Oregon, IL). The Cogs record now stands at 4-5.
The Green Wave (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Resurrection (Chicago, IL). The Bandits come into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Resurrection trounced Regina Dominican (Wilmette, IL), 36-21, in a non-league battle.
