Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers (Las Cruces, NM) and the host Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM), saw Mesilla Valley Christian School's basketball squad knock off Sandia Prep by a count of 40-29.

With the victory, Mesilla Valley Christian School upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The SonBlazers travel to Belen (Belen, NM) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Belen won 47-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM)
