Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Washington Pam Pack (Washington, NC), 60-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Perquimans upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Pirates travel to Currituck County (Barco, NC) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Currituck County won 38-33 in their recent non-league bout against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA)

Next up, the Pam Pack clash with the Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 43-42 non-league loss to Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC).
