Mississippi High School Basketball - Pontotoc tops South Panola
November 30, 2023: Batesville, MS 38606 Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host South Panola Tigers (Batesville, MS), 59-50 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Pontotoc upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Warriors host Ingomar (New Albany, MS) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 9-1. Ingomar won 69-29 in their recent non-league bout against Myrtle (Myrtle, MS)
Next up, the Tigers play the Cleveland Central Wolves (Cleveland, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. South Panola will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 38-36 non-league win over Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MS).
