Oregon High School Basketball - Portland Adventist Academy topped by Rainier
November 30, 2023: Portland, OR 97216 The Rainier Columbians basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the host Portland Adventist Academy Cougars to 22 in the Columbians non-league victory on Thursday.
The Columbians now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Columbia Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Rainier will battle a Knights team coming off a 40-16 non-league loss to Gervais (Gervais, OR). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.
The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy (Mt. Angel, OR). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Kennedy prevailed over Catlin Gabel (Portland, OR), 47-24, in a non-league contest.
