The Veritas Christian Academy Warriors basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting University Christian Barracudas to 45 in the Warriors non-league victory on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy for a Western Piedmont contest on Friday, December 1. Veritas Christian Academy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 51-25 league win over Community Christian Academy (Bessemer City, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.

The Barracudas (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Lure Classical Academy (Lake Lure, NC). The Raptors come into the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Lake Lure Classical Academy was nudged by The Master's Academy (Forest City, NC), 55-23, in a league contest.
