Mississippi High School Soccer - Wayne County overwhelmed by Clarkdale
November 30, 2023: Waynesboro, MS 39367 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Clarkdale Bulldogs (Meridian, MS) and the host Wayne County War Eagles (Waynesboro, MS), saw Clarkdale's soccer squad triumph over Wayne County by a margin of 5-0.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Neshoba Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. Clarkdale will meet a Rockets squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Choctaw Central (Philadelphia, MS). The Rockets record now stands at 5-6.
With the loss, Wayne County drops to 1-4 on the season. The War eagles host Gautier (Gautier, MS) to meet the Gators in a 5A Region 4 test on Tuesday, December 5. The Gators come into the test with a record of 5-3. Gautier won 1-0 in their recent league test against Vancleave (Vancleave, MS)
