Virginia High School Basketball - Cox knocked off by Green Run
November 30, 2023: Virginia Beach, VA 23454 The Green Run Stallions basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Cox Falcons to 57 in the Stallions non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Stallions now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kellam for a non-league contest on Monday, December 4. Green Run will meet a Knights team coming off a 58-49 non-league loss to Kempsville (Virginia Beach, VA). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.
The Falcons (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA). The Marlins enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Bayside ran past Tallwood (Virginia Beach, VA), 55-53, in a non-league contest.
