North Carolina High School Basketball - West Johnston fells Harnett Central
November 30, 2023: Benson, NC 27504 West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC), 44-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, West Johnston upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Southern Nash (Bailey, NC) to play the Firebirds in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 5. The Firebirds enter the game with a record of 1-2. Southern Nash lost 49-41 in their recent non-league game against Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC)
With the defeat, Harnett Central moves to 1-1 on the year. The Trojans host Western Harnett (Lillington, NC) to face the Eagles in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 5. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 1-2. Western Harnett won 49-41 in their recent non-league game against Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC)
