California High School Basketball - Westview tops La Jolla Country Day
November 30, 2023: La Jolla, CA 92037 Westview Wolverines (San Diego, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host La Jolla Country Day Torreys (La Jolla, CA), 48-32 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Westview upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA) to play the Mavericks in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Mavericks come into the bout with a record of 1-2. La Costa Canyon won 65-19 in their recent non-league bout against San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA)
Next up, the Torreys play the El Camino Wildcats (Oceanside, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. La Jolla Country Day will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 59-34 non-league loss to Rancho Christian (Temecula, CA).
