Monte Vista Mustangs (Danville, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host River Valley Falcons (Yuba City, CA), 78-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Monte Vista upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to West Park (Roseville, CA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-1. West Park won 93-21 in their recent non-league bout against Foothill (Sacramento, CA)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Del Oro Golden Eagles (Loomis, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. River Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 63-60 non-league win over Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA).
