Florida High School Basketball - New Smyrna Beach overwhelmed by University
November 30, 2023: New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168 The University Titans basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host New Smyrna Beach Barracudas to 37 in the Titans non-league victory on Thursday.
The Titans now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hagerty for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. University will battle a Huskies team coming off a 53-49 non-league loss to DeLand (DeLand, FL). The Huskies record now stands at 0-1.
The Barracudas (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against DME Academy (Daytona Beach, FL). The DME Academy come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, DME Academy triumphed over Warner Christian Academy (South Daytona, FL), 63-27, in a non-league contest.
