Washington High School Basketball - Annie Wright holds off Rainier Beach
November 30, 2024: Seattle, WA 98118 The Annie Wright Gators basketball team scored 74 points and limited the host Rainier Beach Vikings to 70 in the Gators non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Gators now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host St. Francis for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 4. Annie Wright will confront a Golden Knights team coming off a 69-65 non-league win over Orange Vista (Perris, CA). The Golden Knights record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Rainier Beach falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Seattle Prep (Seattle, WA) to confront the Panthers in a 3A Metro game on Wednesday, December 4. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 1-0. Seattle Prep won 94-64 in their recent non-league game against Sammamish (Bellevue, WA)
