The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC) and the host Statesville Greyhounds (Statesville, NC), observed Cannon's basketball team overwhelm Statesville by a score of 89-66.

The Cougars (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against NC GBB Academy (Durham, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record.

In their next game, the Greyhounds encounter the Mooresville Blue Devils (Mooresville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 6. Statesville will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 72-69 non-league win over Hough (Cornelius, NC).
