In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Cedar Ridge Raiders basketball team scored a good 72-53 win over the Cedar Creek Eagles.

The Raiders (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Round Rock Westwood (Austin, TX). The Warriors enter the 6A Region IV District 25 match with a 11-0 record. In their last match, Round Rock Westwood thwarted McNeil (Austin, TX), 85-52, in a league match.
