In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Spencer Greenwave basketball team scored a close 56-52 win over the Central Chargers.

The Greenwave (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Troup County (LaGrange, GA). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Troup County edged Harris County (Hamilton, GA), 64-48, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Chargers battle the East Laurens Falcons (East Dublin, GA) in a A D1 Region 2 contest, on Tuesday, December 3. Central will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Falcons come into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 50-48 non-league win over Calvary Day (Savannah, GA).
