The Gaston Christian Eagles bounced the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres basketball squad by a final score of 62-36 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors (Indian Trail, NC) in a NCISAA Metrolina outing, on Tuesday, December 3. Gaston Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Warriors enter the outing with a 2-3 record after their 71-69 non-league loss to Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC).

The Sabres (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Charlotte Catholic routed Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC), 82-49, in a non-league outing.
