Georgia High School Basketball - Mill Creek sneaks past Lakeview Academy
November 30, 2024: Gainesville, GA 30501 The Mill Creek Hawks (Hoschton, GA) basketball edged the host Lakeview Academy Lions (Gainesville, GA), 59-57 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Hawks now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Central Gwinnett for a AAAAAA Region 8 bout on Tuesday, December 3. Mill Creek will play a Black Knights team coming off a 64-57 non-league win over Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA). The Black Knights record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Lakeview Academy falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Rabun County (Tiger, GA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, December 2. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Rabun County won 65-53 in their recent non-league bout against Model (Rome, GA)
