Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Thomson Bulldogs (Thomson, GA), 61-55 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Midland Valley upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Mustangs host Josey (Augusta, GA) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 3. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 0-1. Josey lost 51-24 in their recent non-league match against Greenbrier (Evans, GA)

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Academy of Richmond County for a non-league match on Friday, December 6. Thomson will face a Musketeers squad coming off a 40-37 league win over Harlem (Harlem, GA). The Musketeers record now stands at 2-4.
