Georgia High School Basketball - Morgan County knocks off Walnut Grove
November 30, 2024: Madison, GA 30650 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Morgan County Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 42-29 win over the Walnut Grove Warriors.
The Bulldogs (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Banks County (Homer, GA). The Leopards come into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Banks County defeated White County (Cleveland, GA), 75-58, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the East Forsyth Broncos (Gainesville, GA) in a AAAA Region 8 contest, on Tuesday, December 3. Walnut Grove will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Broncos come into the contest with a 6-0 record after their 80-55 non-league win over Northview (Johns Creek, GA).
