Arizona High School Basketball - Westview nudges North

November 30, 2024: Avondale, AZ 85323

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Westview Knights (Avondale, AZ) and the visiting North Mustangs (Phoenix, AZ), observed Westview's basketball team edge North by a score of 62-56.

The Knights (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Flagstaff (Flagstaff, AZ). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Flagstaff was tipped by Eastmark (Mesa, AZ), 63-51, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ) in a 5A Metro challenge, on Monday, December 2. North will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Stampede come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 54-50 non-league win over Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ).
