Arkansas High School Basketball - Quitman overwhelms Brinkley
November 30, 2024: Quitman, AR 72131 The Quitman Bulldogs basketball team scored 81 points and limited the visiting Brinkley Tigers to 13 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they host South Side for a 2A Region 5 game on Tuesday, December 3. Quitman will confront a Hornet team coming off a 64-33 non-league win over Wynne (Wynne, AR). The Hornet record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Brinkley falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Augusta (Augusta, AR) to confront the Red Devils in a non-league game on Friday, December 6. The Red Devils go into the game with a record of 3-1. Augusta won 50-40 in their recent league game against Sacred Heart (Morrilton, AR)
