Georgia High School Basketball - Buford overwhelms Walnut Grove
November 30, 2024: Buford, GA 30518 The Buford Wolves basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Walnut Grove Warriors to 39 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wolves now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Mountain View for a AAAAAA Region 8 game on Tuesday, December 3. Buford will confront a Bears team coming off a 46-26 non-league loss to Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA). The Bears record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Walnut Grove falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA) to confront the Broncos in a AAAA Region 8 game on Tuesday, December 3. The Broncos go into the game with a record of 1-5. East Forsyth lost 64-51 in their recent non-league game against Chestatee (Gainesville, GA)
