In Saturday's non-league contest, the host East Central Trojans basketball team scored a close 40-36 win over the South Ripley Raiders.

The Trojans (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Jennings County (North Vernon, IN). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Jennings County edged Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN), 49-47, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the North Decatur Chargers (Greensburg, IN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 3. South Ripley will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Chargers come into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 60-27 non-league win over Knightstown (Knightstown, IN).
