Georgia High School Basketball - Heard County holds off Elite Scholars Academy
November 30, 2024: Franklin, GA 30217 The Heard County Braves basketball team scored 7 points and limited the visiting Elite Scholars Academy Royal Knights to 0 in the Braves non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Braves now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Haralson County for a A D1 Region 6 game on Tuesday, December 3. Heard County will confront a Rebels team coming off a 60-24 non-league loss to Gainesville (Gainesville, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Elite Scholars Academy falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Royal knights travel to McNair (Atlanta, GA) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 1-5. McNair lost 77-22 in their recent non-league game against Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA)
