Indiana High School Basketball - Westfield nips Franklin Central

In Saturday's league contest, the host Westfield Shamrocks basketball team scored a close 55-53 triumph over the Franklin Central Flashes.

The Shamrocks (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory (Indianapolis, IN). The Braves go into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record.

In their next game, the Flashes battle the Brownsburg Bulldogs (Brownsburg, IN) in a Hoosier Crossroads contest, on Friday, December 6. Franklin Central will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 6-2 record after their 67-58 non-league win over Columbia City (Columbia City, IN).
