South Carolina High School Basketball - Lexington overwhelms Greer

November 30, 2024: Lexington, SC 29072

The Lexington Wildcats basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Greer Yellow Jackets to 24 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Cross Creek for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. Lexington will confront a Razorbacks team coming off a 61-37 non-league loss to Woodward Academy (College Park, GA). The Razorbacks record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Greer falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets travel to James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC) to confront the Rebels in a non-league game on Friday, December 6. The Rebels go into the game with a record of 3-0. James F. Byrnes won 62-48 in their recent non-league game against Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC)
