California High School Basketball - Wilcox overwhelms Independence
November 30, 2024: Santa Clara, CA 95051 The Wilcox Chargers basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Independence 76ers to 6 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Chargers now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Piedmont Hills for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. Wilcox will confront a Pirates team coming off a 50-10 non-league win over Overfelt (San Jose, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Independence falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The 76ers travel to Menlo School (Atherton, CA) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. The Knights go into the game with a record of 3-0. Menlo School won 61-31 in their recent non-league game against Fremont (Sunnyvale, CA)
