November 30, 2024: Baltimore, MD 21221 Mt. Zion Prep Academy Blue Warriors (Lanham, MD) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars (Baltimore, MD), 58-56 in a league match.
With the victory, Mt. Zion Prep Academy Blue advances its record to 4-0 on the year. The Warriors host Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD) to face the Cavaliers in a non-league match on Saturday, December 7. The Cavaliers enter the match with a record of 0-2. Archbishop Spalding lost 42-38 in their recent league match against McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD)
The Cougars now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roland Park Country for a IAAM A match on Wednesday, December 4. Our Lady of Mount Carmel will face a Reds squad coming off a 43-40 league loss to Pallotti (Laurel, MD). The Reds record now stands at 1-1.
