Illinois High School Basketball - Chicago Marshall nips Freeport
November 30, 2024: Freeport, IL 61032 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Chicago Marshall Commandos basketball team scored a close 70-67 triumph over the Freeport Pretzels.
The Commandos (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Crane Medical (Chicago, IL). The Cougars go into the contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Crane Medical nipped Perspectives-IIT/Joslin (Chicago, IL), 52-43, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Pretzels battle the Crystal Lake South Gators (Crystal Lake, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Freeport will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
