California High School Basketball - Homestead can't hold off Santa Teresa
November 30, 2024: San Jose, CA 95123 Santa Teresa Saints (San Jose, CA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA), 64-60 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Santa Teresa advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Saints travel to Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA) to face the Bells in a non-league match on Thursday, December 5. The Bells enter the match with a record of 0-0.
The Mustangs now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain View for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 4. Homestead will face a Spartans squad coming off a 46-43 non-league loss to Saratoga (Saratoga, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-1.
