November 30, 2025: Easton, PA 18045 Pocono Mountain West Panthers (Pocono Summit, PA) backers went home thrilled Sunday as they saw their basketball team thwart the host Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders (Easton, PA), 72-55 in a non-league contest.
The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against East Stroudsburg South (East Stroudsburg, PA). The Cavaliers go into the Mountain Valley contest with a 1-0 record. In their last match, East Stroudsburg South notched a victory over Honesdale (Honesdale, PA), 48-40, in a non-league match.
The Crusaders now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jim Thorpe for a Colonial - East match on Tuesday, December 2.
