Mississippi High School Basketball - North Pontotoc nudges Wheeler
November 4, 2022: Ecru, MS 38841 North Pontotoc Vikings (Ecru, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Wheeler Eagles (Wheeler, MS), 53-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, North Pontotoc upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Vikings host Houlka (Houlka, MS) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, November 7. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Houlka won 77-31 in their recent non-league bout against Tupelo Christian Prep (Belden, MS)
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Walnut Wildcats (Walnut, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 8. Wheeler will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 80-42 non-league win over Myrtle (Myrtle, MS).
