November 4, 2022: Staunton, VA 24401 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Wakefield Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA) and the host Grace Christian Warriors (Staunton, VA), saw Wakefield's soccer squad knock off Grace Christian by a margin of 4-1.
The Fighting Owls now sport a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to New Covenant for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 8. Wakefield will encounter a Gryphons squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA). The Gryphons record now stands at 9-6.
With the loss, Grace Christian drops to 16-4 on the season.
